Consider a customer-service experience you have had in the last month or so. Was it positive or negative? Describe your experience and then point out specific ways in which the firm might strengthen its customer service. I have had a rather disappointing customer service experience at the TGI Fridays located in Quakertown. My wife and I go here almost every Wednesday night with our kids, since they have a kids eat free promotion. One Saturday night a few guys from our neighborhood had a guy’s night out. Being such a loyal customer one would expect to get top service, which is usually the case. Except for this one particular Saturday in January when my group sat in a new servers section. Having worked as a server myself, and knowing how it is to be the new server, I had adjusted my customer expectations. Jenny, the new server, did not even come close to meeting my lowered standards. She did everything one could possibly do wrong. She apparently took a liking to one of my neighbors, and was not shy about it at
