ECO 202, Lyons Fall 2010 REVIEW SESSION Wednesday, October 6th, 7:15–8:45 pm, FSB 0005 STUDY GUIDE FOR MIDTERM EXAM: October 7th, in class 75 minutes I. The exam will consist of three or four parts. One part will consist of short answer questions, similar to those on the quiz: multiple choice and maybe some true/false. Its weight will be between 1/4 and 1/3 of total credit. and will contain fewer questions than Quiz 1. The other parts will be in “essay” format, where the answers required will vary from rather brief ones with a single focus to longer essays and/or problems which may require discussion of several related points. Problems similar to those on the written problem sets will appear, but without complicated calculations. [You may bring and use your calculator.] Each of the essay parts will allow you choices of questions to answer and question(s) to avoid. II. Coverage Classroom presentations & discussions inclusive through October 5th. Text , Chapters 6 – 8 and the portion of chapter 16 assigned in Part III.B of the syllabus.; in Chapter 9, only materials on pp. 251–258 are relevant to this exam. Essay/problem
