Matthew Aron Tuesday, October 18, 2011 crt 205 An eye for an eye. ... Capitol Punishment is the killing of a human by judicial process in retribution of a crime. Although most people are against it, I believe capital punishment should continue to be used; however, a more precise method should be deployed. At the same time, I think that the doctors in charge of handling the execution should be held accountable for his or her actions. Having an effective consistent method for punishing people committing heinous crimes would decrease the number of crimes committed. If the death penalty should continue to be used, which way is the most humane? First, I suggest that there be ONE way to execute a person. Matching the execution style with the crime leaves too much objection. The most humane form of death should be voted on, then used to punish the accused. Forms of executions have included electric chair, lethal injection, gas chamber, and others far less humane. When does execution bor- derline torture?
