Elizabeth Spartas Lesson Plan: Paper Plate Aerobics (2-3 grade) 1. Objective : By the end of the class, students should be able to perform the moves they have been taught in a coordinated manner. 2. Motivation: Students will be practicing the following skills: a. Coordination b. Balance c. Endurance 3. Skill Analysis: a. Balance b. Cardiovascular endurance c. Muscle strength & endurance d. Cooperation 4. Organization: a. Students will each receive two paper plates & go to a place where they have significant personal space 5. Activities: a. Step side to side & lift arms (holding paper plates in each hand) with each step b. Put the plate on the ground jump over it side to side c. Put one plate on the ground—put your hand on it, keeping arm straight & walk your feet around it d. Find a partner, stand back to back, put on paper plate between your backs, pass the other paper plate back and forth with your partner e. Triceps lifts f. Hands on one plate & feet on other—inch worm g.
