John Matias LAWS_310 Week-4 It is against the law to discriminate any disabled person for a job as long as the disabled person can do the work, there are exceptions because in some cases the disabled person cannot do the work that is required to be done, I think that scenario explain in detail that the person was being discriminated because this do not required to much physical work to be done so the person that was on the wheelchair was able to do the job efficiently. In the path below you will appreciate a little more of the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII)

Unformatted text preview: This law makes it illegal to discriminate against someone on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, or sex. The law also makes it illegal to retaliate against a person because the person complained about discrimination, filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination investigation or lawsuit. The law also requires that employers reasonably accommodate applicants' and employees' sincerely held religious practices, unless doing so would impose an undue hardship on the operation of the employer's business. http://www.eeoc.gov/laws/statutes/index.cfm...
