Alien is a 1979 science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Tom Skerritt , Sigourney Weaver , Veronica Cartwright , Harry Dean Stanton , John Hurt , Ian Holm and Yaphet Kotto . The film's title refers to its primary antagonist : a highly aggressive extraterrestrial creature which stalks and kills the crew of a spaceship . Dan O'Bannon wrote the screenplay from a story by him and Ronald Shusett , drawing influence from previous works of science fiction and horror. The film was produced through Brandywine Productions and distributed by 20th Century Fox , with producers David Giler and Walter Hill making significant revisions and additions to the script. The titular Alien and its accompanying elements were designed by Swiss surrealist artist H. R. Giger , while concept artists Ron Cobb and Chris Foss

Unformatted text preview: designed the human aspects of the film. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_(film) This was one of the best Sfi-Fi Horror movies ever made, as one can appreciate the special effects in the movie, the way the present the Alien, one can see this monster from any angle and it is still very scary, like this scene where Lambert (Veronica Cartwright) was running through the passage and the monster comes from the wall of the spaceship makes it seem a real monster. The feelings it caused me were very strange because at some point during the movie I was very scare and at some other point I was pulled into the movie, meaning I was reacting like I was one of the actors in the movie, In conclusion to me this is if not the best one of the best Sci-Fi Horror movies ever produced....
