Exam 2 will be on Nov 9th, 2010; 2:20pm3:30pm in our regular classroom.

Please study all we discussed in class, not only what is present here. The exam will
cover sections 5.1, 5.5, 5.2, 5.3, 5.7, 5.10, 6.16.4, 7.1, 7.2.

There will be no question specified for ch1ch4. However, the knowledge of earlier
sections like descriptive statistics, probability theories and discrete random variable
distributions may be involved in the exam questions.
•
Anything covered in the homework should also be reviewed.
•
You are allowed to bring a letter size cheat sheet (A4, you can use both sides) and a
calculator. You need to photocopy the standard normal table, the t table and the chi
square table (Table 3,4, 5 in your textbook).
Staple your cheat sheet and tables
together. I will not provide you those tables if you don’t prepare them for yourself.
