Group Team Car Ramrod Bombers Members: Jonathan Brate, Anna Cumtell, Carter Stitt, Ed Lynch Spectrophotometric Analysis Protocol Constructing the Calibration Curve 1. Obtain 20-mL of the Fertilizer in a clean dry 50-mL beaker. 2. Use a Mohr pipet to deliver 3.00-mL of this solution into a 250-mL volumetric flask and dilute to the mark with water. 3. Use a volumetric pipet to deliver 5.00-mL of your working solution into a 10-mL volumetric flask; add about 4-mL developing solution , dilute to the mark with the distilled water and mix. Pour the solution into labeled medium test tube. Rinse the volumetric flask thoroughly with distilled water. 4. Prepare four more colored solutions by repeating the procedure in step three, starting with 4.00, 3.00, 2.00 and 1.00-mL of the working solution. Pour each solution into a separate medium tests tube, making sure each is labeled carefully. 5. Add 4-mL of working solution to a 10-mL volumetric flask and dilute to the mark with distilled water. Pour this solution into another label medium test tube. 6.
