Coli Outbreak The Colorado Department of Public health and Environment along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention investigated nestle toll house regarding an e-coli outbreak. Recalling all pre-packaged cookie dough for e-coli. 66 people in 28 states had become ill with e-coli and according to the FDA 25 people were hospitalized with the e-coli infection and 7 people were infected with e-coli that could lead to kidney failure. People were advised to throw away the product and were advised about cross contamination. All together 81 people were infected and

We need to be more informed and have more knowledge on what’s going on with the foods we eat. Our health is at risk with everything we put in our mouths. Wouldn’t you want to know a little bit more about your food before eating it? Because you wouldn’t just put anything in your mouth would you. It should be the same with food as well.
