Revised 704 Attendance and Punctuality To maintain a safe and productive work environment, Online Org expects employees to be reliable and to be punctual in reporting for scheduled work. Absenteeism and tardiness place a burden on other employees and on Online Org. In the rare instances when employees cannot avoid being late to work or are unable to work as scheduled, they should notify their supervisor as soon as possible in advance of the anticipated tardiness or absence. Tardiness is defined as being more than 15 minutes late for work. Non-exempt employees who are 15 or fewer minutes late may stay later the same number of minutes so there is no loss of pay. Employees who are tardy no more than 30 minutes may stay later the same number of minutes so there is no loss of pay no more than 3 times in a calendar year. Employees who are tardy up to 30 minutes 4 or more times in a calendar year and all employees tardy more than 30 minutes may not stay later (i.e. there will be a loss of pay) and will be disciplined as follows:
