Globally, the incidence of university students cheating in academics is considered to be on the rise and a challenge to the honest global community. Cheating at Indiana University is a small but persistent problem that can spiral into an epidemic. The Kelley School of Business is strongly committed to the highest standards of personal integrity and wants to develop effective measures to prevent cheating. You are consultants in this venture. 1. Identify reasons why students cheat. How do cheaters justify this behavior? 2. Develop effective measures to prevent cheating. 3. Craft a student Honor Code that will be effective and explain why the Honor Code you propose will be effective. 4. Maximize the involvement of enthusiastic students in preventing cheating. 5. Create a positive buzz in Kelley about everyone joining efforts to fight cheating. == The Kelley School of Business Undergraduate Honor Code that is posted in the hallways is attached on the last page here.
