Another Busy Week for the Hoosiers By Christopher Webb The IU track and field squad with another busy week of meets, are looking to recuperate from their mediocre performances at the Meyo Invitational, as they host the two day Hoosier Hills meet this Friday. This will be once again, the second straight week in which the Hoosiers will have to split up and face competition as a non-whole, as part of the team are already participating in the annual Tyson Invitational in Arkansas. Coach Ron Helmers is looking to see some consistency in his team’s performances that will contingently carry over to the Big Ten Championship as well as Nationals.

Unformatted text preview: Our goal every season is to contend for a Big Ten Championship and a team trophy at the NCAA Championships, said Coach Helmers. Part of accomplishing those goals is getting enough people in position to be successful at the championship level. We are getting closer to where we want to be, but we still have to continue to perform as the expectations continue to increase. Those wanting to see the invitational sections in the Hoosier Hills meet, will want to arrive by 5:00 p.m. on Friday evening and 11-12:30 p.m. on Saturday....
