Preview: Hoosiers track and field looks to have success on the road By Christopher Webb The IU track and field squad will split up this week, as most of the athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their talents on the road, it will have to be in separate locations. Coach Helmers will be sending some of his distance runners to Notre Dame, led by junior distance runner Chelsea Blanchard, as they will be competing in the two day Meyo Invitational, which he hopes will gain national marks. “I am going to send a couple of my middle distance runners to Notre Dame,” Coach Helmers said “Hopefully we can gain some national marks and set us up to move up in the Division I rankings.” Coach Ron Helmers wants to give some of his athletes a rest which includes sophomore Andy
