Open up a default space window.

Click on General Tab. Name the space, input floor area, ceiling height and adjust building wt. if necessary. Define the space usage …in this case office space. The ventilation OA requirement is set then for this usage. You can input your Own usage if you want And not use ASHRAE 62 Requirements.

Click on Internals Tab and put in lights, equipment, people. Indicate activity level for people. Don’t forget to change ballast multiplier to 1.0 if your lighting input per square foot includes the Ballast already.

Click on the schedule and this window will pot up. Give the schedule a name. Use fractional for lights, people and equip.

Click on Hourly Profile tab and click on profile one and define the schedule for lights, equipment and people. You can use a different schedule and profile for lights, people and equipment if you like.

Click on Walls, etc. tab and input gross wall area for each orientation and indicate number of windows. You can put “1” in for window quantity and then define the window size to include the total window area for that wall.
