Homosexuals are humans too, that deserve equal protection as heterosexuals. Homosexuality is basically your sexual orientation ; it’s just a preference in your sexual partners. Sexual orientation affects our attitudes and behaviors, so why should people with different attitudes and behaviors be discriminated. Homosexuality exists in all parts of the world, and isn’t secluded to one part of it; it could be view as macrosociety . One of the theories in sociology says that sexual orientation is due mostly to a genetic basis. Why would you want to punish people for what they biologically inherited? In 1977 43 percent of people found that homosexuality was acceptable way of living, and then in 2007 that percent went up to 59 percent.
