Fall 2011: Students are required to attend weekly class sessions and complete the related assessments on Blackboard. Students must pass each assessment in order to receive credit for the class session. The related assessments should be completed by the following week of each class session. The assessments will open on the Friday of the current week. The assessments will be available on Blackboard until Friday, December 9, 2011.

Grading: Students receive one academic credit hour for successfully completing PACE 101 The course is graded on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Students are not permitted to withdraw or drop PACE 101 from their schedules and may not re-take this course.

In addition, students will attend: Two Emory Arts Events (and complete related assessments) Two group events (freshmen class) Advising meetings with PACE Peer Leaders Students are responsible for meeting with their faculty adviser during the required times in the fall and spring semesters Students must complete the PACE Survey as part of the course requirements

Two Emory Arts Requirements: (1) Group Event: Creativity & Arts Soiree in the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts , Friday, September 9, 2011, 4:30pm-7:00pm. PACE peer leaders will escort students to this event. Students are required to attend this event. (2) Arts Requirement: Students must attend one Emory Arts event, either ticketed or free. For ticketed events (typically Music, Dance or Theater), first-year students may use the Passport to get tickets free of charge. Tickets for these events may be redeemed at the box office located in the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts. Students may go in groups or individually.
