Premise 1: One can observe that one’s own experiences are connected to publicly observable phenomena Premise 2: Other people exhibit publicly observable phenomena Conclusion: Other people also must have subjective experiences # of instances compared: 2 Relevant similarities mentioned or implied: physical make-up, reactions to parallel experiences Strong Exercise 8.7.6, pg. 303 ( 4 marks ) – accurately answering # 1 and # 2 as outlined in the instructions is worth 1 mark… the remaining 3 parts are worth 1 mark each.
