For these two careers, there is a ton of long-term career potential. In the surgical field, there is almost never an overload of surgeons, and their national average salary of $411,456 per year is more than enough to stay stable for my entire life. In the prosthetics/orthotics field there are many opportunities opening up because of the advancing technology and increasing injuries. Also the national average salary of $95,667 per year after some experience is a decent pay that can easily support me, which I would say counts as great career potential....
