The original story of Aladdin is a Middle-Eastern folk tale. It concerns an impoverished young ne'er-do-well named Aladdin, in a large middle eastern city (Mecca or Medinah maybe?) city, who is recruited rby a sorcerer ( alexandra comes in and says "muahahahahahahaha") ( Sorcerer beckons to Aladdin ) from the Maghreb , i.e. morocco, who pretends to be Aladdin’s uncle ( sorcerer acts like he is telling a sad story to Aladdin and acts paretnal) , in order to convince him to retrieve a wonderful oil lamp from a booby-trapped magic cave Sorcerer: Ya Aladdin, wazuuup homeessss, Aladdin: Ya iben, Sorcerer: look dat magical cave, go git me dat lamp dawg Aladdin: dat cool, dat cool ( Sorcerer points to the cave). After the sorcerer attempts to double-cross him ( sorcerer looks gleeful and evil) , Aladdin finds himself trapped in the cave (Aladdin has an “Oh-No!” moment and looks upset) . people make cave - aladdin enters - people collapse on aladdin Fortunately, Aladdin retains a magic ring
