Conceptual Questions 1. In this scenario, the point that would experience a larger centripetal acceleration is Point A. Ac=rw^2. Because point A is farther away from the axis of rotation, the radius that is included in the calculation of that individual points centripetal acceleration is larger then that of point B. Point B’s radius is smaller since it is between axis of rotation and point A.

The satellite dishes would have to move with the satellites.
