Dec. 7) Laboratory Introduction Agenda: Learn lab safety rules Choose a lab partner and choose a bench Do inventory of equipment and supplies General Laboratory Rules : 1. No eating, drinking, smoking, applying cosmetics, etc. in the lab. 2. Access to the laboratory is restricted to only when the faculty or TA is present and experiments are in progress. Please do not bring friends into the lab. 3. Work areas should be cleaned after any chemical spill. 4. Mechanical pipeting devices are always used. Mouth pipeting is not permitted . 5. Hands should be washed before and after working in the laboratory.
