The world is ever changing but one thing that should stay consent is how we treat ourbodies. According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, “more than 80% ofadults do not meet the guidelines for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities, and morethan 80% of adolescents do not do enough aerobic physical activity to meet the guidelines foryouth”(2017). This is a problematic epidemic that is very detrimental, because when individualslack knowledge they can not fully change the factors that is making their body an unhealthyvessel that is doomed to be genetically passed to offspring. However, there is hope for the future,because, in order to become more knowledgeable and healthy, there has to be a deepcomprehension about physical activity which includes health-related fitness, skill related fitness,cardiorespiratory fitness, and how all of these components can make individuals more informedabout aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities.To begin, one way that physical activity can be defined is in the category of health-relatedfitness.Health-related fitness is exercise and motions performed by a person to target certainareas of the body.
