Management positions increase the possibility for ethical abuses due to the additional power granted with management positions, the possibility of sensitive information being trusted to a management employee, and the chance of managers instructing employees beneath them to perform unethically. 2. Identify and describe the most common forms of workplace deviance. There are four common types of workplace deviance: 1. Production deviance: this type of unethical behavior is harmful to how much work is performed, and the final quality of that work. 2. Property deviance: this type of unethical behavior is harmful towards property that is owned by the company; this could include any kind of employee theft of company merchandise, or destructive employee behavior which damages company equipment. 3. Political deviance: unethical behavior which is intended to harm others within the company, such as the spreading of false rumors or slandering other employees. 4. Personal aggression: this type of deviance is characterized as personally directing aggressive actions towards others. 3. What are the U.S. Sentencing Commission Guidelines? How do they punish unethical behavior?
