Developing Long Term Strategies Question 1 Long term career strategies are very important. In order to succeed you need to have a plan. You should first sit down and think about what you want to accomplish in your career, where you would like to end up is your long term goal. Of course coming straight out of college you are not going to have that position right away so you need to find out your career path or the one you are most likely to take. You may want to find an entry level job where there opportunities to advance or take positions which will give you the skills necessary to score your big job. This is very important to think about when looking for entry level and midlevel jobs, you don’t want to be in a position that has nothing to do with your long term goal, you may never learn what you need to know to get the job.
