AGILE MANUFACTURING AGILE MANUFACTURING In  1994    Paul  T  Kidd  wrote  "Agile  manufacturing  is  something  that  our  corporations  have  yet  to  fully  comprehend,  never  mind  implement".    He  further  claimed  that  this  potential  quantum  leap  in  manufacturing  is  held  back  by  the  excess  baggage  of  our  traditions  and  conventions and our accepted values and beliefs. Manufacturing industry is on the verge of a paradigm shift  from mass production and  lean manufacturing  to world of  agile manufacturing
