Hello All, I guess in my business, I would be worried about intentional misrepresentation and defamation of character. In my business of roofing intentional misrepresentation would be offering a customer a certain type of roof and putting in a less expensive one. Intention misrepresentation occurs when a person intentionally deceives another of property or merchandise or money usually something of value. The second one is defamation of character which is a damaging someone's reputation which in business is an asset to who you are and how you conduct business. In roofing your reputation is extremely important in getting additional work. You also rely on this for future work when someone hears good thing you will likely be able to find other work....
