Rebecca Densen Intro to Education Observation of Julie Eberle 9/22/11 Lessons of Goals to 3 rd 4 th and 5 th grade classes Teaching Styles Ms. Eberle had the students engaged one of the ways she did this was by giving them a snack in the beginning of her lesson. Another way she was able to keep their attention by making it a more casual environment. Julie teaches more in more of a stand and deliver teaching style. However, she read and made a chart with the students and had them fill out worksheets that were a little more interactive I guess. There are various methods she uses to teach. She reads to the students, she made a chart defining the term goal and made them fill out a worksheet defining their own goals. There is no difference between two learners in the same class, however Ms. Eberle teaches differently with each grade. The children seem to be paying attention in each of her classes for the most part. Many of them seem a bit distracted by their food, things in the room or even by me. Classroom Management
