HUM 376 San Francisco Final Paper Essay Topics Tales of the City: A Novel , by Armistead Maupin “The Times of Harvey Milk,” directed by Rob Epstein Valencia , by Michelle Tea Write a five-page paper addressing one of the following essay topics. Your paper should have a clearly stated thesis statement, backed up with evidence from the works you’re writing about, including carefully chosen, brief quotations from each book or film. Papers are due in our classroom in Business, room 104 on Monday, December 21st at 10:30am. If you want to submit your paper before this time, you can slip it under my office door at Humanities Room 336. Topic 1: Both Mary Ann Singleton and Michelle Tea’s narrator are young, single women living in San Francisco. Compare their experiences. Possible subjects you might want to consider discussing could include: the two women’s personalities, backgrounds, jobs, relationships, and interests.
