Brooke Galietto April 3, 2011 MGT 415- LPA 7 I have chosen to express my gratitude for my father. Although it is pretty cheesy and may make me seem like a typical “Daddy’s Little Girl”, he is the person who has had the greatest affect on my daily life. His impact is noteworthy because he embodies many of the qualities and goals we have discussed that relate to leadership. First, he consistently sets a good example. Second, he has an uncanny ability to motivate and excite those around him. Finally, he encourages others to challenge the process in all aspects of life, not just work life. I chose to write my father a hand written note because this is something I would never do under normal circumstances. Also, I think hand written notes hold more weight and power then an email or a phone call, especially when it is someone you talk to on the phone frequently. He hasn’t received the letter yet but I am certain he will enjoy it and feel really grateful I expressed my appreciation not just for the fatherly things he does but also for being a great role model.
