SECTII - Labor MGMT Managers give direction to their firms, provide leadership, and decide how to use organizational resources to accomplish goals. They must also deal with conflict resolution and create trust in people who work for them. Leadership -Empathy: an appreciation for and understanding of others’ needs -Self awareness: know and trust what they stand for, but open to others opinions -Effective communicator -Thinking gray: don’t form an opinion until you’ve heard all the relevant facts/arguments -Be energetic: ‘right person’ & ‘right time’ instead of meeting set deadlines -Think positive: what is going right. Positive thought = positive feeling. Feelings=feedback.
