Shuwun Ma Pineapple Chicken Name: Shuwun Ma Specific Purpose: To inform my audience on how to cook Pineapple Chicken and improve their diets. Organizational Pattern: Chronological Intended Audience: My Communication 101 Class. I. Introduction a. Attention Getting Device: Broke. Hungry. No time. The thoughts that run through a majority of college students. Before you scrap up that loose change on your dresser to go buy fast food, consider this: 60% of college students eat too much artery-clogging saturated fat (Hellmich 2002). Studies have shown that undergraduates forsake healthy eating choice and enter a poor dietary lifestyle that follows them even after college. b. Thesis Statement: Pineapple Chicken is a dish that is simple to prepare, cheap, and delicious. c. Credibility: I have been cooking since I was in the sixth grade and grew up in a restaurant environment. As a result, I am accustomed to home-made meals even in college since I cook on a nightly basis.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
