Problem 1 (25 Points): Design a set of counters for a 24 hour clock including the minute timers. Use 4 cascaded counters. The maximum value for the clock should be 23:59, then it resets to 00:00. You may use standard icons for an n-bit counter (where n is a power of 2) with inputs CE and CLR , and outputs Q 0 to Q n . Ones position for minute timer. Counts 0 to 9. Tens position for minute timer. Counts 0 to 5. Ones position for hour timer. Counts 0 to 9. Tens position for hour timer. Counts 0 to 2.
