Used in hairspary -CFC’s used in refrigerators Were admitted from industrial things  and consumer products Up until the 1890’s We liked them bc they were non reactive and stayed for a long time Then they would just sit in our atmosphere Help destroy ozone Under sunlight and certain conditions kills the ozone CFC’s  Can last up to 100 years on earth Ozone layer Protects us from UV radiation When holes and thinned—then more ultra violet radiation hits the earth, the ultra violet  radiation causes skin cancers and some cancers in animals Can chart the ozone layer and where the holes are Global Warming
