Keep in mind that there is normally some attrition in the first two weeks of classes. You may register yourself on the waiting list maintained with the Receptionist in Room 282 Atkinson. As vacancies occur, students will be contacted in the sequential order registered. The Section Directors are not involved in any way in the registration process. So, do not ask them to get involved, as registration is the registrar’s area of concern. Because of the high volume of material covered in the beginning classes, no registration under any circumstance is permitted after the last date to enrol without the permission of the instructor. 1

This course examines the accounting techniques available to satisfy those needs. Detailed Course Outline: This first course in management accounting introduces students to the use of management accounting information for decision-making, planning and control in a wide range of organizations. Specifically, students learn the basic techniques of management accounting and, to a lesser extent, learn to apply those techniques through quantitative questions, problems and cases. Qualitative analysis is performed at the introductory level of studies. Prerequisites: Prior to taking this course, students must have successfully completed ADMS 2500, one 12U mathematics course or equivalent, and ECON 1000. Note: Not open to students who have taken AK/ADMS 2520 3.00. Note: The following grades do not represent successful completion of a course: E; F; FD; DEF; Deferred Standing.
