By writing my paper I want to draw my reader’s attention on the effects that credit cards have on Americans. I want to be about to explain in my paper that credit cards come with a great deal of responsibility, and if you plan on receiving one you need to be very responsible for how you use it. Therefore, I want my audience to agree with me that credit cards can lead people into debt quick, and the only way you can get out is with help from a debt counseling service or your will power to pay it off yourself. Along with trying to get these points across in my paper I want to explain the reasons why most Americans get credit cards, and I hope that my reader understands and agree with me on the reasons why most people get them. In my paper I hope to accomplish all the main points, and get my point across by having a strong thesis statement that includes specificity, precision, the ability to be argued, the ability to be demonstrated,

Unformatted text preview: forcefulness, and confidence. With all these aspects I know I will have a strong thesis that will keep my readers focus from the beginning of my paper to the end. I hope to have good body paragraphs that support my thesis and once I accomplish this I will be ready to work on my conclusion so that I can gather all my thoughts and ideas and give my final reasons for why I think Americans do not need credit cards. If I can perform these actions in my paper I know I have accomplished what I planned. This may take some time and attention but I am willing to give it my best to write a good essay. I think my readers will agree with what I have said and I think they will probably think twice or wisely about getting a credit card. Once they read my paper they will understand all the disadvantages, advantages, the do’s and don’ts, and the reasons why most Americans do not get credit cards....
