MATH 137 (Section 8) Assignment No. 1 Part 2 Due: 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 23 Your assignment consists of two separate parts. Part 1 Part 1 is available online at http://mapleta.uwaterloo.ca and is due by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday September 22 . If you have any questions or problems with MapleTA, you can write to [email protected] Part 2 Part 2 below consists of the problems that require written solutions. These solu- tions must be submitted by 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 23 into the appropri- ate slot of Math Drop Box No. 5, located outside MC 4066: Slot 7: Surnames ending in A-J; Slot 8: K-S; Slot 9: T-Z. If your assignment is mistakenly put into the box for another section, it may be lost for a long time and may never even get marked. You are recommended to copy and use the assignment templates that appear in UW-ACE. Make sure your name and ID number are clearly written at the top of the first page, and underline your last name. While it is okay to get help if you are stuck, you are required to write the names of students who helped you at the top of your assignment. Any outright copying of assignments, in whole or in part, is an act of cheating, and it will be reported to the associate dean. Hand in your solutions to Problems 1-4, 6-8 below by the due date/time.
