The Rome Excursion 80 The transition from childhood to adulthood happens for every young man or woman at different times and different stages of life. Some may experience this significant change as they first step into the halls of high school, or on a first date, or after receiving a first pay cheque. For me, it may have happened a little later than most, during the summer of 2006, after just completing grade eleven. It was the first time travelling to Europe, the first time away from my parents for more than one week, and the first time I felt completely independent financially and physically, I had made my way to Rome to complete my grade 12 English course for the month of July. The independence and the freedom granted by participating in the Rome excursion during the summer of 2006 allowed me to make the transition from childhood to adulthood. While in grade eleven, I came to the realization that at university I wanted to study something to do with the fields of math or science.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
