EXAMINATION PROCEDURES: All laboratory quizzes will be taken on campus during your regularly scheduled lab period as indicated within the course schedule. You will have 6 laboratory quizzes throughout the semester worth 12 points each. There are NO make up lab quizzes. However, you will drop your lowest quiz grade. If you miss one quiz this will be your dropped grade. If you miss more than one quiz only the first missed quiz will be dropped and you will be give a zero for all other missed quizzes. All lecture exams and laboratory practicals will be taken on campus during your regularly scheduled lab period as indicated within the course schedule. There is no comprehensive final for this course! During each of the three scheduled examination periods will taken both a laboratory practical (1 hour), followed by a lecture exam (1.5 hours). The exam weeks for the semester are listed below. Please note that we are unable to allow students to “switch” lab sections either during a regularly scheduled lab or during a scheduled examination period. SCHEDULED EXAMINATION PERIODS FOR FALL 2010: Examination Period 1: During your regularly scheduled lab period during the week of September 20 th . Examination Period 2: During your regularly scheduled lab period during the week of October 25 th . Examination Period 3: During your regularly scheduled lab period during the week of November 29 th . Each laboratory practical is worth 80 points and you have the potential to earn an additional 2 points extra credit.
