OD Final Part I ABC Corporation is an organization that manufactures high-end electronic components in a very competitive environment. ABC Corporation must find ways to enhance productivity by using and research and developing a different style of management. Through organizational development the organization achieve desired results. A comprehensive plan will help the organization implement change that may help effectiveness throughout the company. The Diagnostic Model that Explain ABC’s Organizational Functions The social network analysis model is a process organization use thats based on a relationship between individual, teams, and groups (Brown, 2011). Effective use of social network analysis can strengthen the formal communication channels and leverage peer support . The model shows how the importance of entities interacting. ABC’s organization uses the social network perspective to encompass theories, models, and applications which expressed in terms of relational concepts or processes (Gretzel, 2001). The use of network analysis helps ABC’s organization understand many central principles and a network perspective that help leaders within the organization make decisions. With a social network analysis model, ABC’s organization can understand the various roles and groups within their networks. Understanding insight of the experts, leaders, and bridges give decision makers a better understanding how to implement changes and making decisions. A Strategic Vision that Will Increase Productivity and Innovation The operations of ABC must undergo changes to increase their productivity and innovation to match or beat their competition. The management style of ABC lends itself to adaptation and change but the operational side must change and adapt.

OD Final Part I Two major components are involved in the manufacturing operations at ABC Corporation: the people who perform the processes and the technology are accustomed to the process. The interaction of the people with each other and their interactions with the technological processes are the key components that must be managed correctly if ABC is to gain on its competition.
