Next weeks recitation will be the same. No more quizzes. 1 The American League Salaries for 2003 Todays dataset is the salaries for American League players in 2003. The dataset is available on the website. The data is in a different format to the table from last time. The table of cigarette data had columns of data with the columns being separated by the tabs (which are invisible). The CSV format is a common format for datasets. Many programs will export a CSV file. The columns are separated by a comma. CSV files typically include a header row. That is, a row that contains the names of the columns in the file. The American League dataset has columns named Team,Player,Salary and Position....
