Exam #2 Preparation Physics 211 Spring 2007 Exam #2 is scheduled for this Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 7:15pm. The exam will be administered in the following rooms: Section 1 – EPS 103 (A-P); and EPS 108 (R-Z). Section 2 - Roberts 101. The exam will be closed book, but a list of relevant equations will be provided. The registrar’s office has reserved these rooms for our class until 9:00pm, so those wishing more time to complete the test may stay until 9:00pm. Greg Francis will be available on Monday evening from 8:00 - 9:00pm in EPS 103 (the lecture room) to answer questions in preparation for Exam #2: The following skills should be mastered in preparation for Exam #2: You should be able to draw a free-body diagram for any situation, identifying each force with a label indicating the type of force (tension, normal, gravitational, friction, magnetic), the object exerting the force, and the object on which the force is exerted. Recognize that every two-dimensional problem is just two one-dimensional problems. In
