DuBrin, 8 th edition, 2008 (or the 7 th edition published in 2006). Course Goals: (1) To provide grounding in the fundamentals of management. (2) To enhance the understanding and application of basic business management concepts, models, tools, and theories. (3) To encourage students’ critical thinking and professional presentation skills. Course Approach: The course format will consist of instructor and/or guest lectures and active student participation. Students are expected to be prepared for each class meeting by completing reading assignments and out-of-class exercises. Students will be required to make class presentations on research topics approved
