Subsea Rotating Device Specifications The Subsea Rotating Device (SRD) is used to isolate the wellbore annulus from the drilling riser, directing flow to the inlet of a subsea pump. The internal sealing spindle is retrievable, allowing maintenance to be performed during drilling operations any time the drillstring pulled out of the hole. Height is ~9 feet. Spindle Working Pressure 500 psi continuous 2000 psi intermittent External Housing Pressure Rating 5000 psi Maximum Rotational Speed 150 RPM Continuous 200 RPM Intermittent Maximum Stripping Speed 120 feet per minute
