THD™ Options Two options for using the Top Hold Drilling (THD™) package are described here. The first is simply deploying the MudLift pump (MLP) and connecting to the wellhead connector. This is analogous to current practices when drilling open hole sections prior to setting surface conductor. The second option includes a subsea shutoff device (SSOD), which allows drilling over the complete planned interval. This combination will afford some level of well control and shut-in in the event of an emergency. Option 1 THD™ package connected directly to wellhead profile Estimated Weight =143,000 lbs . Max WD = 3500m Run on dual 6-5/8” casing risers Circulation rate = 300-1200 gpm Mud Weight = 12.5 ppg Subsea dump line on THD™
