More advice on CP2 11/2009 After doing your usual analysis of the information from steps 1-4 of the programming instructions: a) Find the best model for E(y) based on the independent variables without the order variable. Check the 4 assumptions for your final model. Find any predictions and confidence intervals that have been requested. Write a paragraph in the Executive Summary reporting these results. b) If you have noted that there seems to be a relationship between the dependent variable and the order variable, either from review of the scatterplot of y vs the order variable and/or the correlation between these two variables, note this again in a new paragraph following the previous analysis and indicate, for this reason, you are doing a second complete analysis. In addition to the previous analysis. finding the best model for E(y) based on all independent variables including the order variable. Do this second analysis. Again, check the 4 assumptions for this final model. Find any predictions and confidence intervals that have been requested. Write a paragraph in the Executive Summary reporting these results.
