Plant Tour Project 1. Select a company to visit. Manufacturing and service organizations are equally acceptable. 2. Contact the company and arrange your visit. Limit your team to one visit to the company; we do not wish to disrupt their daily activities more than once. Be sure to send a Thank-you note within a week of your visit

Plant Tour Report The report (single spaces, 5 pages max) should include: An overview of the company and a description of the process you observed Clearly identify the scope of your analysis Process flow diagram you MUST include a flow chart of some significant part of company operations that you created as a team based on your visit (no a flow chart given to you by the company). You may chart the flow of product, customers, information, etc.
