Individual Project 2 1. Executive Summary Situational Analysis is an important subject in the marketing plan. This portion covers marketing segmentation and target markets. Target markets include demographics and trends of consumers. A SWOT analysis is also covered. This describes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within and outside the company. The products are also defined under this portion. It is important to be aware of all the products the company carries and how they will be accepted by consumers. Before we can outline our marketing objectives, we must create sales and profit goals. Increase operating profit to $100k per year, increasing at a rate of ten percent for the next five years. Increase consumer awareness by thirty percent over a three year period.
