Water currently has little or no appeal to it. You already know how the water is going to look like and taste like; rather not taste like. There are numerous competitors out that provide water, most notably PepsiCo (Pepsi) and Coca-Cola (Coke). Pepsi has Dasani while Coke has Aquafina – two major bottled water brands that have carved a niche in the beverage market and targeted “water drinking” consumers. Yet, neither has really differentiated from the other. How can you identify one from the other in regards to marketing? Both have a slightly different shaped bottle, but really lack in making one overtly unlike the other? I wish to introduce a bottled water product that will be distinctive in nature and will be easily identified when the consumer goes to the supermarket or gas station. The bottled water will not only be different in shape and size; but the content of the water will be the determining factor. Water Works is bottled water that comes in different colors.
