Sample Problem Topic: Thévenin and Norton equivalents Statement of Problem: Given the circuit shown in the figure below Find the Norton equivalent circuit w.r.t. terminals a and b. Solution To find the Norton equivalent circuit, we want to decompose this circuit into a simple current source and parallel resistor.
