Question #1 How is internal assessment useful for more than just evaluating employees for other positions in the company? Provide an example. Another way that an internal assessment is more useful than just evaluating employees for other positions is that they can assess employees to enhance the firm’s strategic capabilities. An organization needs to be aware of all employees’ abilities and their strengths and weaknesses. An example would be when an organization wants to update or change its focus on another department and they need to hire some new people, they can make a computer program and have them answer questions to see who is qualified to be the best fit to complete the task at hand. Question #2 See/read pages 316-317, Case Study Respond to #1 under “Questions” on page 317.
